Athletes Code of conduct

Who?

Anyone who participates in a Strathroy Spirit Basketball athletic activity is considered an athlete. It is expected that each athlete will compete to the best of her abilities at all times, keeping in mind the spirit of competition and of the game. 

Always model mature behaviour consistent with that of Ontario’s Basketball Guidelines for Behaviour:

a) FAIR PLAY is an athlete's first priority.

b) Participate for the love and enjoyment of the game.

c) Respect the efforts and accomplishments of your teammates and your opponents.

d) Respect officials, coaches, spectators and event organizers.

e) Respect the facility you visit or in which you play.

f) Respect the rules of the game.

Strathroy Spirit U16 – 2026/2027 Recruitment Camp & Tryouts

We’re excited to invite all female athletes born in 2011 and 2012 to participate in our U16 Recruit Camp and Tryouts for the upcoming fall/winter season.


The program will run over five weeks, with sessions held every Wednesday from 7:00–8:00 PM, beginning May 20 and continuing through June 17.  Cost $50.
